More about me

I then studied a Bachelor of Photography majoring in Social Documentary and Photojournalism at The Queensland College Of Art. I was so happy to be awarded best graduating student by The Courier Mail and graduated in 2000.  2000 to 2013 I worked for News Limited as a photographer for The Gold Coast Bulletin. I got to shoot everything and anything from local stories, advertising products, famous people, 25million houses, and the lists goes on.

2015 I decided to go out on my own and start Spill Photography. I love how each day is different and unique as not one shoot is ever the same. I love creating pieces of history to help create my clients vision. For the past 12 years until current I also teach photography at Gold Coast Tafe. Helping other like minded people create their goals is exciting to me.

How Spill was created

Spill came about from a large fashion retail company ringing me from Melbourne asking why can't Gold Coast photographers deliver photos instantly at their event for social media purposes.

Spill didn’t exist at the time but they knew me as a photographer from News Limited.

I had just left the paper and told them I would be more than happy to capture their shop opening and can deliver their request.

The name Spill came from the term “Spill your Guts” meaning shout it out from the roof tops, tell everyone, tell the world your brand, your story, your event.

I am able send an agreed number of high quality professional photos instantly available for upload so you can showcase your brand in the best possible way and in real time if needed.

The rest of the job will be sent within 48hours of the shoot via email link or on request via usb.
